Angus and Danny star as U19 Scots win at last

Scotland's U19 players have finally won a game in the challenging ICC U19 World Cup event at the Witrtand Oval in Potchefstroom, South Africa on 28 January - and Clydesdale men Angus Guy and Danny Cairns were central to Scotland's seven-wicket victory over the United Arab Emirates team.

Scotland won the toss and put UAE into bat, and they posted an impressive total of 249 in the Plate quarter-final, with Danny taking a well-earned 4 wickets for an economical 32 runs.

But Scotland chased the runs down even more impressively thanks to superb innings from opening batsman Uzzair Shah (71), Tomas Mackintosh (51) and skipper Angus (43*), guiding his team to an outstanding victory with 34 balls to spare.
