2010 WDCU Divisions Now Confirmed

Jim Campbell has been in touch on behalf of the WDCU and the 2010 WDCU Leagues have now been confirmed.

Following the Championship winning campaign, Titwood have been promoted to Division 1 and will face: East Kilbride, Galloway, Glasgow Accies, Helensburgh, Irvine , Hillhead, Meikleriggs (Ferguslie’s 2nd XI), Partick (West of Scotland’s 2nd XI) and Prestwick . There is also other news for Titwood – the return to WDCU 1 coincides with the league clubs voting to remove the draw from WDCU 1 and to adopt the SNCL playing regulations and points system.

Following their successful season, which saw them promoted, the Cavaliers will now be playing in Division 3 and will play: Active Life Club, GHK/Strathclyde (GHK’s 2nd XI), Glenpark (Greenock’s 2nd XI), Hamilton, Kingholm (St Michaels’ 2nd XI), Motherwell, Torrance House (East Kilbride’s 2nd XI), Victoria and Weirs 2nd XI.

And for the Bees, the aim will be to build on their highest ever league finish in Division 5. The Bees will play: Alps (Glasgow Accies 3rd XI), Bute, Cumbernauld, Garscube (GU Staff’s 2nd XI), Gatehouse (Galloway’s 2nd XI), Glasgow Ansar, Hamilton 2nd XI, Home Park (Motherwell’s 2nd XI), Inverclyde, Memorial Field (Ardrossan’s 2nd XI), Vale of Leven and Windyedge (Glasgow Acccies 4th XI).

The fixture lists will be added to the website as soon as they are released by the League.
