Facilities |
 |
Titwood is currently regarded as one of the best grounds in Scotland and as a result has played host to many international matches over the past few years. This is partly due to the unrivalled facilities the club boasts. The playing area itself is certainly one of the largest in the country, with over 16 pitches available for use each season, by four senior and seven junior elevens. The square is also large enough to accommodate practice pitches at one end, making for ideal training sessions in game conditions. |
Also available are
- Two all weather nets with sizeable run ups - located at the far corner of the ground.
- The club also has it's very own water-based hockey pitch, which doubles up as an ideal area for Junior practice in all Scottish weather conditions!
- Two mobile net cages for use on the grass pitches.
- If the weather proves too much, we also have access to indoor facilities next door at Hutchesons Grammar School’s Sports Hall - which houses a five lane net facility of the highest standard.
- A club-owned Bola bowling machine – suitable for use both indoor and outdoor.

Dale for Members
- The Junior Section of the club has its own pavilion, with 2 changing rooms and showers, a small but well-filled kit cricket equipment storage room and a Junior Kitbag Storage Rack.
- Senior members changing facilities include a home changing room which looks out over the cricket pitch, a terrace for spectating and a number of downstairs changing rooms and a newly built Senior Kitbag Storage Rack.
- Inside the pavilion, we have a bar, a fully equipped kitchen, a committee room/office and a separate back bar area often used for meetings or smaller functions.
- For those wishing a break from cricket playing or spectating, the club boasts a 42” HD Colour Television and a newly-installed sound system which allows one area of the lounge to listen to music, while the other area can listen to the television or even other music.

Dale in Partnership
- 2006 saw the Club first approach Hutchesons’ Grammar School to request use of the school’s Auldhouse Playing Fields on a Saturday afternoon. The school through Ian Gall and Stuart Lang were in favour of the move and the Cavaliers and Bees Saturday XIs have used Auldhouse ever since.
- 2007 and 2008 saw the link furthered with the club getting use of the Portacabin and, on special occasions, the clubhouse too.
- 2009 saw the Club strengthen its links with Hutchesons’ Grammar School, as an Astroturf wicket was put in on the square at Hutchesons’ Auldhouse Playing Fields in Thornliebank. In addition, an agreement was reached on the regular use of the Auldhouse Clubhouse.
